THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Logistics Scheduler based in Ormeau. This position involves working as part of our collaborative Despatch team - reporting to the QLD Logistics Manager.

This is a full time role - working 11am - 7pm, Monday - Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Co-ordinate and schedule daily delivery runs
• Work as part of a tight knit logistics team to ensure customer demands are met
• Assist with customer service duties as required
• General housekeeping
• Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies and procedures
• Participation in tool box and team meetings

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in a similar scheduling role, ideally within the construction/building industries
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Relentless approach to ensuring the customers' needs are met and expectations exceeded
• Understanding of loading different size and weight materials
• Sound geographical knowledge
• Familiarity with logistics and scheduling software systems
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced, pressurised environment
• A "go getter" who can think outside the square
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
